Astral Media/The Source Vikuiti Storefront
The ultimate goal for Astral and Bell on this project was to showcase two of their specialty channels-HBO and The Movie Network-to encourage consumers to buy Bell ExpressVu TV packages. Astral Media approached Acuity in October 2009 to create an innovative, dynamic means of capturing consumer attention in a high-traffic retail storefront using Vikuiti rear-projection film and a fully branded storefront.
Acuity subsequently transformed a 25′ x 6′ storefront at The Source at First Canadian Place in Toronto, ON, featuring a series of printed, two-dimensional lug-ons, as well as a fully customized 7′ high Vikuiti rear-projection screen. This eye-catching screen will be running until June 2010, and can be easily updated and scheduled by Astral Media via web browser at anytime.
